March 2, 2024: deadline to implement the Plan LGTBI companies with more than 50 employees

The Law 4/2023, 28 February, for the real and effective equality of trans people and for the guarantee of the rights of the people LGTBI, which entered into force on 2 march 2023, included new obligations for the companies with the aim of promoting the equality of the people LGTBI.

One of them is the collection of article 15 of the Law, which provides that companies with more than 50 employees have to implement a Plan LGTBI in a period of 12 months from the entry into force. Therefore, the period ends next march 2, 2024.

This plan has as its main objective to ensure a work environment safe and respectful for all employees, regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation. Should include measures to achieve real and effective equality of persons LGTBI and a protocol to prevent and tackle all forms of discrimination and harassment.

It is essential, therefore, that all the companies affected by this obligation they start to work in the elaboration of this Plan as soon as possible.
